Distance Sales Contract, Booking Terms & Conditions

  1. Booking Terms (Please Read Carefully)

Our Travel Adventure accepts reservations under the following terms and conditions.

  • The term “Client” refers to all individuals listed on the booking form who intend to travel with Our Travel Adventure.
  • The term “Product” refers to any service provided and sold by Our Travel Adventure.

By making a reservation, all Clients acknowledge that they have read, understood, and accepted these terms and conditions. To confirm a booking, Our Travel Adventure requires full payment of the total amount due. A contract is established once Our Travel Adventure confirms the reservation in writing and issues a confirmation document.

The individual who submits the booking form (which includes these terms) guarantees they have full authority on behalf of all named individuals and confirms that all parties are aware of and agree to these conditions. This contract and any matters arising from it are governed by Turkish Law and fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Turkish Courts.

No employee or representative of Our Travel Adventure has the authority to amend, alter, or waive any of these terms unless officially documented and signed by the company’s Director. Our Travel Adventure reserves the right to decline any reservation at its discretion without further explanation.

  1. Changes and Cancellations

Clients may cancel their bookings at any time by providing written notice. The cancellation will be considered effective from the date Our Travel Adventure receives the request. The following cancellation fees apply:

  • 50 days or more before departure: 20% of the total tour package
  • 49 to 30 days before departure: 30% of the total tour package
  • 29 to 8 days before departure: 50% of the total tour package
  • 7 to 1 day before departure: 100% of the total tour package

For special occasions such as public holidays, cancellation conditions may vary, and Clients will be informed in writing in advance.

Important Notes:

  • Pandemic Policy: In the case of pandemic-related cancellations, Our Travel Adventure will retain the Client’s payment as a credit for up to two years from the cancellation date, applicable toward any future tour package. If hotel prices differ at the rescheduled time, the price difference will be reflected in the tour cost. If the Client still chooses to cancel, a 15% service fee will be deducted from the total package amount.
  • Flight Tickets: The cancellation of flight tickets follows a separate policy. Once tickets are purchased, any changes to flight dates will incur additional fees. Flight cancellations are subject to a 100% cancellation fee, independent of the general cancellation policy.
  • Refunds: If a refund is applicable, the amount will be calculated based on the conditions stated above and will be processed within 7 to 15 business days. Our Travel Adventure will not cover any bank fees charged for processing refunds.
  1. Pricing and Information Policy

Tour prices listed on Our Travel Adventure’s website or brochures are correct at the time of publication. However, before confirming a booking, Our Travel Adventure reserves the right to adjust these prices due to factors beyond its control, such as:

  • Government regulations
  • Changes in transportation costs (including airfare and fuel prices)
  • Adjustments in taxes, fees, and entrance costs

Bank transfers must be completed within three days of receiving the invoice unless stated otherwise. Our Travel Adventure, a registered business in Turkey, also accepts payments via credit card in TL, USD, and EURO.

Our Travel Adventure strives to provide all services as advertised but reserves the right to modify facilities and services as necessary. Any substitutions will be of equivalent value, and the company accepts no liability for changes affecting the Client’s enjoyment of the tour.

  1. Meeting Point for Tours

All Our Travel Adventure tours begin and end at the designated local airport unless the Client requests a specific meeting location.

  1. Travel Insurance

All Clients are required to have comprehensive travel insurance covering:

  • Medical expenses
  • Repatriation costs
  • Loss of baggage
  • Cancellation or interruption of the tour

Clients are responsible for arranging their own insurance. Our Travel Adventure is not liable for any damages if it has provided the agreed-upon service at a reasonable standard.

  1. Liability Disclaimer

Adventure tours inherently involve risks that may not be present in standard vacation packages. By agreeing to these terms, Clients acknowledge these risks and accept them voluntarily.

Our Travel Adventure does not assume liability for damages unless proven that the company or its suppliers were at fault. The company is not responsible for damages caused by:

  • Client negligence
  • Unforeseen and uncontrollable circumstances (force majeure)
  • Incidents beyond the company’s reasonable control

In cases of air, sea, or rail transport and accommodation provisions, Our Travel Adventure’s liability is limited under relevant international conventions.

  1. Travel Documents

Clients are responsible for ensuring they have valid passports, visas, vaccinations, and any required travel documents. Our Travel Adventure provides information in good faith but is not responsible for changes in regulations affecting travel requirements.

  1. Health and Behavior

Clients must confirm they are fit to participate in the selected tour itinerary. Those with pre-existing medical conditions must disclose them at the time of booking and ensure they have necessary medications and treatments available.

A medical certificate from a General Practitioner may be required to confirm fitness for travel. Failure to disclose relevant medical conditions releases Our Travel Adventure from any liability related to those conditions.

  1. Complaints and Issues

Any complaints should be reported within 24 hours to the tour guide, leader, or reservation supervisor, who will take immediate steps to address the issue.

  1. Accommodation Policy

All tour accommodations are based on double or twin-sharing. Single travelers must pay an additional single supplement.
