You will be welcomed at Kusadasi Port, then begin your day with a guided tour of Private Ephesus Turkish Bath Tour, one of the most important archaeological sites in the world. During a downhill walk through the ancient city, your guide will lead you past significant landmarks such as the Bouleuterion, Temple of Domitian, Hercules Gate, Temple of Hadrian, the stunning Celsus Library, and the impressive Great Theatre.
Following your time in Ephesus, you will be driven to a traditional Turkish Bath to experience one of the most relaxing and cultural practices of Turkish life. Upon arrival, you’ll receive a token and instructions before entering the changing area. After wrapping yourself in a peştamal (traditional cotton wrap), you’ll enter the sıcaklık (caldarium) a warm, marble lined chamber designed for relaxation and detox.
Your body will begin to perspire as you lie on the heated marble platform or sit near the basins, followed by a deep exfoliating scrub and a bubble wash administered by an experienced attendant. After the wash, you can continue to relax on the warm marble or rinse at one of the basins. Once you’re ready, you’ll dry off with towels and unwind in the cooler area of the bath often accompanied by a refreshing local drink.
