Highlights of Turkey

The Highlights of Turkey Tour follows a 10 day route through some of the country's most important historical, archaeological and natural sites. Begin in Istanbul with Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace and the Grand Bazaar before travelling to the Gallipoli Peninsula , where the itinerary visits ANZAC Cove, Lone Pine, Chunuk Bair and other First World War memorials. From Canakkale, continue to Troy and Pergamum before reaching Kusadasi for visits to Pamukkale and Ephesus. This overland section gives the journey a different character from shorter Turkey packages, connecting several major ancient sites rather than flying directly between Istanbul and the Aegean coast. The journey then continues by air to Cappadocia , where two days are dedicated to the region's valleys, cave settlements and rock cut heritage. Visit Goreme Open-Air Museum, Pasabag, Devrent Valley and Love Valley before exploring Uchisar Castle, Red and Rose Valleys, Cavusin Village, Kaymakli Underground City and Pigeon Valley. A Cappadocia hot air balloon flight is available as an optional experience. The package includes hotels with breakfast, domestic flights, airport transfers, lunches during tours, entrance fees and professional English-speaking guiding, with the final night back in Istanbul before departure.
