About This Tour
The Best of Turkey Tour is a 13 day journey that combines Turkey's cultural landmarks with Cappadocia's landscapes and the Aegean coast. Begin with four days in Istanbul , including a Bosphorus cruise, the Princess Islands and an Old City walking tour visiting Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque and Hippodrome. Fly to Cappadocia for two days of sightseeing through Devrent and Pasabag valleys, Avanos, Goreme Open-Air Museum, Uchisar Castle, Red and Rose Valleys, Cavusin, Pigeon Valley and an underground city. An optional Cappadocia hot air balloon flight can also be added before the regular sightseeing program. From Cappadocia, continue by air to the Aegean region for Pamukkale and Hierapolis, Pergamon and Ephesus , including the Temple of Artemis and House of Virgin Mary. The final part of the journey moves south to Bodrum , where the itinerary combines Bodrum Castle, the Museum of Underwater Archaeology, the ancient Theatre of Halicarnassus and the city's windmills with a separate boat trip through the surrounding coves. Domestic flights, airport and hotel transfers, professional English-speaking guiding, transportation and entrance fees mentioned in the itinerary are included, before the tour concludes with a flight from Bodrum to Istanbul for your international connection.
